I cannot believe Friday is almost over!

I cannot believe it is after 6pm on Friday as I write.  Time is going much, much too fast.   There is so much to do and people in Kenya really only work face-to-face.   Very little work gets done over the phone or through email.      Anyway,  today we went to Gospel (Ingili) and Bomani (the blue school from Fox River) to do the Stranger Danger.   We taught them how to scream and they had a lot of fun.    All the staff at Bomani says hello to their American friends and a special hello and love to Pat from Anne.

I hope God will us it in great ways to protect the children of these communities.   We meet up with Pastor Allen today - a Pastor that helped Fox River get Bomani started -  he said on the TV they were talking about 144,000 or so kids have been abducted in Kenya since March.    That is a major amount.   We need to pray for this country.  God is doing so much work here, and the devil has become aware of it and is coming against the great work with the children.     Also, witch doctors are paying a lot of money for human - especially children's body parts - so kids will be abducted body parts cut off and then they will leave them for dead where ever.   Please take a moment and pray for these communities to keep their children safe.

Tonight we are off to watch Connor and Dylan for Bobby Bechtel so he can lead bible study at Crossroads.   Wish us luck with getting them to bed on time and in one piece!   Just kidding.

    Awww....a special hello back to Ann. I can't wait to see her next July!!!

    What's going on with the children is horrific!! Needs a lot of prayer to come up against those witchcraft spirits. Time to do some warfare.

AFTER YEARS OF WORK, THINGS ARE COMING TOGETHER!

Saturday, March 31, 2012 Great start of the day with a run down to the beach.  I made good running time, and did it all by myself which is a miracle.  For those of you that don ’ t know, I HATE to run.  That is a whole different journey that God has me on, training for a half marathon.  I ’ ve always been a walking fan.  Walking is the same as running as long as you do it long enough was always my motto, but since I started running in December, I can honestly say that is definitely not true.  Running is so much more.  I hate it, but it is so much better for me than walking or any other type of exercise.  It is a great way to clear your head, tone your body, and increase your energy even if you are miserable even thinking about it!  When I got to the beach, looking out over the ocean there was a peace.  If God can take care of keeping the oceans where they need to be, He can take care of my small problems, even if they seem large to me ...

TIME TO RECHARGE Sunday, June 24, 2012 Got up late, through was up at 5am originally, got out of bed at 8:15am.  Pam and I headed right down to the ocean with her journal and my morning readings.   Such a relaxing time and place with the Indian ocean being so beautiful and just awesome.  It ’ s high tide so can hear waves like you ’ re in the ocean. Then ate breakfast with the quieter part of the group which was nice.   Then off to church at Crossroads Nyali.   It is a church just like our church, Fox River in the states, contemporary through Fox River is at least 10 times louder with their music, it's not your normal church.  That was great to see lots and lots of people I knew there and to recharge.    ...
